Glenda Pruitt

Mrs. Glenda Imogene Burcham Pruitt, age 78, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Amelia County Virginia on September 3, 1942 to the late Roy Ernest Burcham and Marie Robertson Burcham.  Mrs. Pruitt worked at H&R Block for 43 years.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memory are sons and daughter-in-law, David Wayne Pruitt, Charles Edward Pruitt and wife Terri; grandchildren, Ty Pruitt, Owen Pruitt and Jack Pruitt; niece, Leigh Ann Pruitt Corbin; brothers, Stanley Burcham and James Larry Burcham.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Pruitt was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Gus Pruitt.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by Rev. Ronnie Robertson.  Burial will follow at Mt.
