Gordon Charles "Chuck" Hennis

Mr. Gordon Charles “Chuck” Hennis, Jr., 71, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at Indian Oaks Living Center in Killeen, TX.  Chuck was born October 16, 1951, to the late Lyda Ruth and Gordon Hennis.  After high school, Mr. Hennis joined the United States Army, serving for two years.  He was self-employed in the wholesale florist supply business for many years.  Surviving are his son, Dominic Hennis of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren; a sister, Charlotte Hennis Hill (Errol) of Bonlee and Mount Airy; and three nieces.  Burial will be held at Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy at a later date.  There will be no formal service.
