Hassel Bernard Bowman

Mr. Hassel Bernard Bowman, 81, of Claudville, VA, passed away at Blue Ridge Therapy Tuesday, April 13, 2022.  He was born in Patrick County May 12, 1940, to the late William Gossie Bowman and Mabel Lois Wilson Bowman.  He retired from John Lawson Trucking, and he was a member of Danube Presbyterian Church in Ararat, VA.  Mr. Bowman is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea Lynn and Bobby King, Hazel Lynn and John Jessup, and Barbara Gail and Stan Knott; grandchildren, Amber King, Brandon King and wife Maegan, Tony Knott, Jason Knott, Zachary Knott, Nicole Knott, and step granddaughter-in-law Jeannie King; step great grandchildren, Kayley, Jenna, and Conner King; sisters and brothers-in-law Wynette and Pal Laws, and Diona and Carlos Goad; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his wife Lucille Elizabeth Valese Bowman; an infant daughter Lynn Marie Bowman; a step grandson, Glenn King; an infant sister Linda Bowman; and brothers, Donald, Kenneth, David, Reavis, Eugene Bowman.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
