Hazel Cleo Hudspeth Stanley

Mrs. Hazel Cleo Hudspeth Stanley, age 83, of Dobson, NC passed away on October 4, 2022, at Chatham Nursing and Rehab, in Elkin, NC.  She was born in Yadkin County to the late Millard Frank Hudspeth and the late Bruce Southard Hudspeth.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hal Stanley; brothers, Bud Hudspeth, Weaver Hudspeth.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, and a retired textile mill worker.  Surviving is her two daughters, Deborah Lambert, Carol Bledsoe; son, Richard Odell Whitaker; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; stepsister, Cathy Stanley.  A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 7, 2022, in the cemetery of Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Richard Whitaker will officiate the service.  There will be no services held at the funeral home.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Stanley family.
