Hester Lee Quesinberry Frye

Mrs. Hester Lee Quesinberry Frye, age 95, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Central Continuing Care in Mt. Airy. She was born on July 3, 1929 in Surry County to the late Roy and Sally Heath Quesinberry. Mrs. Frye was retired from Spencer’s after many years of service and was member of Christ Community Church in Mt. Airy. Left to cherish her memory are her brother-in-law, Gray Shelton; special friends, Lorie Ann Shumate and Martha Eaton as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Frye was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Meggs Frye; sister, Hilda Shelton; brother, Heath Quesinberry, and a niece, Rhonda Kirkman. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Pastor David Brady. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 2:30 PM until the time for the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the ones at Central Continuing Care, and Mountain Valley Hospice that showed her true love, kindness, and compassion.
