Hilda Ann Lewis Rice

Ms. Hilda Lewis Rice, 71, of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 19, 2025, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born July 16, 1953, in Surry County to Delmer Clinton Lewis and the late Nellie Irene Sawyers Lewis. She was a member of Woodville Baptist Church and was retired secretary from Precision Concepts after more than 30 years of service. Left to cherish her memory are her father, Delmer Clinton Lewis; sister, Carolyn Tilley; brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Mandy Lewis; and several other family and friends. In addition to her mother, Ms. Rice was preceded in death by her son, Josh Easter; husband, William "Bill" Rice; and a brother, Dwight Clinton Lewis. No formal services are scheduled at this time. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, PO Box 325, Dobson, NC 27030.
