Hilda Ann (Quesinberry) Shelton

Mrs. Hilda Ann Quesinberry Shelton, age 82 of Mount Airy passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, at Novant Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem surrounded by her loving family.   Mrs. Shelton was born in Surry County to the late Roy and Sally Heath Quesinberry.  Mema was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She was dearly loved by all her family and friends and will be deeply missed.   Surviving is her husband of 65 years, Gray Harrison Shelton; two sons and daughter-in-law, Rick Shelton and Mary; Scott Shelton and special friend, Lorie Shumate; grandchildren and spouses, Tyler Shelton and Laken, Travis Shelton, Laura Belcher and Jerico, Seth Shelton, Sam Shelton and Lindsay, Matt Hill, Chelsi Lyons; great-grandchildren, Sky Shelton, Clarissa Shelton, Sage Barbee, Slate Reinhardt, Nadia Reinhardt, Maddie Allen, Ellie Lyons; a sister, Hester Quesinberry Frye; along with several nieces and nephews.   In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Shelton Kirkman; and a brother, Heath Quesinberry.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Reverend Larry Phillips officiating.  Interment will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Moody Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
