Hunter Jacob Gertsch

Hunter Jacob Gertsch gained his Pilot's License on Friday February 23,2024. He has said since he was 3 that he wanted to take a plane to Heaven to see his cousin Emmitt and his Uncle Jay Jay. In Hunter's 8 years on Earth he touched so many lives. He lit up every room he walked in and was loved by so many. He had such an outgoing personality and such a beautiful, sweet smile that would light up the world. He had a dream to play NFL football for the Panthers. He loved to ride motorcycles, fish, hunt, and loved his hot wheels and his family very much. He will be missed by all that knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Timothy and Ashley Gertsch; his big sister, Dixie; his big brother, Leeland; and a bonus brother, Boogie; Grandparents: Kenneth and Lola Magistro; Christine Jones; Great Grandparents; Russell and Carolyn Jones; and Bonus Grandpa Patrick Hazzard; Aunts and Uncles, Alicia Gertsch, Shawn and Virginia Magistro, Danielle and Patrick Roberts, Stormee and Braedon Barnes, Amber and Tiffany Ellis, Dakota and Dakota Goss; Several cousins and lots of friends. He will forever be remembered for his sweet smile and laughter. He was always the life of the party and always had a way to cheer people up. The family will receive friends on Friday March 1, 2024, from 12 pm-2:30 PM, at Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson NC, with burial to follow at 3:00PM in the Jones Family Cemetery.
