Illa Faye Felts Williams

Mrs. Ila Faye Felts Williams, age 79, of Galax, passed away at Commonwealth Assisted living in Hillsville.  Mrs. Williams was born in Carroll County on December 26, 1942, to the late Thomas and Lula Jones Felts.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.   Left to cherish her memories are, her husband 62 years, Dan Richard Williams; daughter, and son-in-law, Delores Thompson(Ricky); grandchildren, April Clontz (Zachary), Cody Thompson; great-grandchild, Kate Clontz as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Shawn Carter.  Burial will follow in the Independence Baptist Church Cemetery, 4188 Stable Rd, Hillsville, VA 24343.
