Imogene Melton

Mrs. Imogene “Jennie” Quesinberry Cain Melton, 78, formerly of Ararat, VA, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at her home in Concord.  She was born in Carroll County, VA on June 16, 1944, to the late Morgan Junior and Myrtle Jarrells Quesinberry.  Mrs. Melton was a loving homemaker, and a member of Bear Trail Baptist Church.  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Lee Willard; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Anna Cain; grandchildren, Shena Pickett, David Whittington, Shanna Cain, Tammi and Justin Fisher, and Leah Willard; seven great grandchildren; sister, Marie Jessup; brothers and sister-in-law, Clinton Quesinberry, Rev. James Quesinberry, and Virginia Quesinberry; special cousin, Becky Cain; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Cain; a sister, Frances Beck; a brother, Ellis Quesinberry.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Quesinberry officiating.  Burial will follow in Willis Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
