Mrs. Irene Tate Burcham, 81, of Cana, VA passed away at Skyline Nursing Center in Floyd, VA on Sunday, October 30, 2016. She was born in Carroll County, VA on September 9, 1935 to the late William C. “Dolly” and Della Edwards Tate. Mrs. Burcham is survived by her daughter, Vicky Sechrist; grandsons, Michael Sechrist and Junior Sechrist. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October, 5, 2016 at Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
