J. Bundy Needham

Bundy Needham , a loving devoted husband, went to be with his Lord on July 10, 2014. He was 87. Born to Bundy and Emma Needham he was one of five children - his siblings being Paul, Roger, Philip and Lorene.
A member of Fielder Road Baptist Church, he practiced his religion every day, trying to do the right thing for everyone - a fair person. Served in the U. S. Navy Air Corp during World War II, as a ordnance man on a PV-1 Ventura - a plane that guarded the U. S. Coastlines. After his discharge with the Navy, he was graduated from North Carolina State University and employed by Allis-Chalmers Manufacturing Company for thirty years -he was a District Representative in Raleigh, NC, a Sales Manager in Harrisburg, PA and a Branch Manager for many years in Charlotte, NC, Richmond. VA, Indianapolis, IN, and Dallas, TX. Bundy enjoyed golfing, flying, fishing, all the main sports events and working in the yard. He also helped coach in Little League and enjoyed it as much as the kids. He is survived by his wife, Joanne Crawford Needham. (They were married for sixty four years.), his son, Ron Needham and wife, Jennifer, three grandchildren-Ashlyn, Dylan and Logan (twins)-Southlake, TX (He delighted in them); brother, Roger Needham and his wife Peggy, Pilot Mountain, NC, sister, Lorene Dawson, Pilot Mountain, NC, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews from Seattle, WA, to Garland TX, to Pilot Mountain NC. Visitation will be held at Moody's Funeral Home , Mount Airy, NC on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 1:00 pm and graveside services will follow at 2:00 pm in Oakdale Cemetary.
