Jackie Atkins

Mrs. Jackie Ann Vernon Atkins, 66, of Mount Airy passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Surry County on June 19, 1954 to Joanne Gentry Vernon and the late Jack Scales Vernon.  She was employed at Renfro Corporation with many years of dedicated service.  She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 42 years, Tommy Glenn Atkins; son, Joshua Jack Atkins; her precious grandson, Kayden Chase Atkins; a brother, Monty Dale Vernon; niece, Amanda and Mark Dudek; her mother-in-law, Bonnie Mae Atkins; special friends, Angie Carpenter and Mark Senter; and a host of other family and friends.  In addition to her father, Mrs. Atkins was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Anthony Vernon; and her father-in-law, Glenn Lee Atkins.  There will not be any formal services for Jackie at this time.   To send flowers to Jackie's family, please visit our floral store.
