Jacky Randolph Hooks, Sr

Mr. Jacky Randolph Hooks, Sr., 66, of 161 Cedar Cove Way, Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday morning, May 29, 2012, at his home. Mr. Hooks was born May 1, 1946, in Wilson County, the son of the late William Brady and Lessie Barbee Hooks. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Terry Hooks of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Cody Hatcher of Lowgap, Karen and Timmy Hall of Hillsville, VA; a son and his girlfriend, Jacky Hooks, Jr. and Melissa Caldwell of Fancy Gap; a brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy Keith and Cindy Hooks of Kenly. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home with Rev. Arlis Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
