Jama Lee Bartley

Ms. Jama Lee Killen Bartley, age 95, of Mt. Airy, passed away Friday, December 29, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center.  Ms. Bartley was born in Grayson County on January 24, 1924, to Elbert and Mary Murphy Killen.  Among the many who will always cherish her memory is a daughter, Lana Smith; grandchildren, Tammy Umstead and husband, Joey and Robby Caudell; great grandchildren, Devin King and wife Lindsey, and Kelsey King; and brothers, Eddie Killen and Pete Killen.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Bartley was preceded in death by sisters, Jeanette Lineberry and Jean Shupping.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 30, 2019, at Old Saddle Mountain Baptist Church by Rev. Russ Cox.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
