Mr. James Dean Sawyers, age 44, of Mount Airy passed away on Monday October 19, 2026 at his home. The son of Mr. James Ray Sawyers and Mrs. Tammy Smith, Mr. Sawyers was a loving and devoted son and friend who will surely be missed by all who knew him. Mr. Sawyers worked as a beautician and cosmetology instructor, where he shared his love of his craft with his students. Mr. Sawyers is survived by his mother, Mrs. Tammy Smith and Terrell Smith, special friend Robert, as well as a large and loving family. Mr. Sawyers was preceded in death by his father, Mr. James Ray Sawyers, as well as his grandparents. No formal services are scheduled at this time.
