James Morris Disher
Mr. James Morris Disher, Age 75, of Elkin, NC passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Surry County on July 20, 1946, to the late Leon Morris Disher and the late Hallie Ball Disher. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and retired from Reynolds Tobacco Co. He was also a veteran of the US Army having served in Greece during the Vietnam Conflict. Surviving is his wife, Jacquelyne Martin ‘Jackie” Disher; son, Allen Hutchins; sister, Betty Gail Poindexter; two nephews. The family will hold a memorial service later. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Disher Family.
