James Todd Hiatt

Mr. James Todd Hiatt age 41 of 185 Brigadoon Branch Road, Whittier, NC, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Hiatt was born in Surry County on February 25, 1965 son of Vera Stevens Hiatt and the late Arlyss Edmond Hiatt, was the owner of Hiatt Environmental Services and was a veteran of the US Army. Surviving are his mother, Vera Stevens Hiatt of King; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Cleon Gammons of Mount Airy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Ricki Hiatt of Raleigh and Douglas and Rhoda Hiatt of King and two special nieces and spouses, Cindy and Chuckee Simmons and Angela and Monty Leonard all of Mount Airy. In addition to his father Mr. Hiatt was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Dale Hiatt. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Dr. Rick Jackson with burial to follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until time of the service.
