James Wade Martin

Mr. James Wade Martin, age 65, of Bassett, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025 . He was born in Martinsville, VA to Jimmy Ray Martin and Hazel Irene Sehen Martin. For the last several years James has been committed to caring for his parents. He also loved spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Steve Martin (Diana); a niece, Jordan Carlisle (Josh), and a nephew, Patrick Martin (Chelsea).
