James Wesley Bowers

Mr. James Wesley Bowers, age 62, of Greensboro, NC and formerly of Hilliard, OH passed away on July 13, 2026. He was born in Columbus OH November 1, 1963, the son of the late Duane and Myrna Headlee Bowers. Mr. Bowers was a good guy and chose a life and he lived it well. He was a veteran of the United States Army, one heck of a drummer, loved his music, and a free spirit with a contagious laugh. He could name tunes and drummers in seconds He will be missed. Surviving is his brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sandy Bowers; nieces and nephews, Alex and Nina Bowers, Jennifer Anderson, and Brian Bowers. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is entrusted with his arrangements.
