Mr. James Elbert "Buck" Wolfe died unexpectedly on Monday, July 2, 2012, at his home. Mr. Wolfe was born August 19, 1930, in Surry County, to the late James A. and Mary McHone Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Marie Wolfe. He leaves behind a daughter, Mary Alice Culler and her husband, Danny; three granddaughters, Noelle Culler, Laura Moore and her husband, Chad, and Suzanne West and her husband, Jobe; six great-grandchildren, Callie Moore, Caleb, Miriam, Nathanael, Joshua, and Samuel James West; and two sisters, Annie Mae Martin and Norma Lee Smith. Mr. Wolfe served as a deacon the majority of his life as well as taught Sunday School, preached the Word, and witnessed to everyone he met about the love of Jesus Christ. He will be forever missed. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 5, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Culler and Dr. Rick Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 9:45 AM until 10:45 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
