Jamie Lee France, Jr., 10 of Mt. Airy passed away at Brenner Hospital in Winston Salem on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He was the loving son of Timeka Nicole Dobson and Jamie Lee France, Sr., born in Surry County July 5, 2005. He enjoyed the game of football; whether he was watching the Seahawks or Panthers or having the chance to play, this was his passion. Left to cherish Jamie's memories are his mother, Timeka Nicole Dobson; his father, Jamie Lee France, Sr.; a sister Gynesis Shayana Nevaeh Hickman; a brother, Jahaud M. Scales; grandparents, Sandra Elliott and Donald Elliott, Irish Dobson and Michael Smith, great-grandmother, Althea Dobson; aunts, Tyler O. Elliott and Cora King; uncles, Lewis Kennard France, Jimmy Flippen, Jr., Jordan Smith, Nathan King and JoJo King; great aunts, Charlotte France, Kathy Ann France, Cynthia Dobson, Sheila Dobson and Shepaille Dobson; great uncles, Irvin Ray France, Barry France, Doug France, Graylen Dobson and Jamie Dobson. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Mt. Moriah in Pinnacle with Pastors Victor Davidson and Donald Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.
