Jane Johnson Wolfe

Mrs. Jane Johnson Wolfe, age 78, of Dobson, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, July 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Jane was born April 10, 1948, to the late Rev. Raymond and Betty Johnson of Ararat NC. She is survived by her sons, Chad “Melissa Wolfe of Dobson, NC, Teddy Gray Wolfe of Ararat, VA, Steve “Karen” Wolfe of Mount Airy NC; her five grandchildren, Joey “Hannah Wolfe, Austin Wolfe, Jayden “Bailey” Vaughn, Mason Wolfe, and Grayson Wolfe; three great grandkids, Joseph Wolfe, Chloe Wolfe, and Kasey Vaughn; her childhood sweetheart and loving friend, Jerry Key of Ararat NC; two brothers, Terry “Bonnie” Johnson of Ararat NC, Tommy and “Brenda” Johnson of Ararat NC; two sisters, Joan “Rev. Jackie” Danley of Ararat NC, and Ramona Jones of Pilot Mountain NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gray Wolfe; sister, Tulla Jones; two brothers, Bobby Johnson of Ararat NC and Larry Johnson of Ararat NC.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 12:00-1:30 PM, at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Jackie Danley officiating. Burial will follow in the New Home Church of Christ Cemetery In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 325, Dobson NC 27017.
