Janet Rumora Epperson

Mrs. Janet Rumora Epperson, age 82, of Ararat, VA passed away at her home on Sunday, April 26, 2026. She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, December 13, 1943, the daughter of the late Matthew and Bertha Lindholm Rumora. Mrs. Epperson was very active in the Ararat Community and Dan River Park. She retired from accounting for individuals and small businesses, and was a member of the Fellowship Church in Ararat, VA. Surviving is her daughter, Holly Schneider (Patrick Hall); daughter-in-law, Alisun Boldrini; grandchildren, Zach Smith (Haley Cockerham), Michael Boldrini, and Caleb France (Gabriel); her great grandchildren, Miyah, Macen, Carson and Camille; her siblings, Margaret Beeman, Thomas Rumora (Martha), Matthew Rumora (Katie); sister-in-law, Susan Rumora; special friends, Chris Hollingsworth and Clark Hollingsworth; her furry friend, Bandit. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry Boldrini, her second husband, Buford Epperson, and her long-time partner, John P. Hollingsworth, her son, Frank Boldrini, and brother James Rumora. A Service of Celebration will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Dan River Park, P.O. Box 35, Ararat, VA 24053. Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is entrusted with her arrangements.
