Janet Olivia Jordan Fox

Ms. Janet Olivia Jordan Fox, 69, of 137 Hawkeye Lane, Ararat, passed away Thursday night, June 25, 2015, at Genesis Health Care in Sparta. Ms. Fox was born April 4, 1946, in Guilford County, one of four children born to the late Perry Lee and Augusta Ellen Carter Jordan. She is survived by two daughters, Randy Lynn Fox of Mount Airy and Kelly Lee Fox of Jonesville; four grandchildren, Jennifer Moore of Lowgap, Amber Dollyhigh of Mount Airy, and Jordan Roberts and Katie Roberts, both of Boonville; two great-grandchildren, Louis Slusher and Saydee Dollyhigh; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Bill English of Martin, GA; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Perry, Jr. and Kathy Jordan of Danville, VA, and Steven and Darla Jordan of Pinnacle. The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 28, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Richard Loman officiating. Interment will follow at The Peoples Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
