She was an avid reader, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, tennis and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family will cherish the memories of Christmas at Grandmama's, weeks at the beach, days spent in Kibler Valley, and playing in the river and riding four wheelers on the family farm in Virginia.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Alvis Glenn and Inez Barnard Epperson; her husband Bobby Ray Hall; a sister, Glendola Ilene Epperson; and a step granddaughter Erin Lynn Coulter.  Janice is survived by two children, Glenn (Vicki) Hall of Welcome, NC, Susan (Clyde) Coulter of Bainbridge, IN; three grandchildren, Adam (Amy) Hall, Cari (Stephen)Murphy, Josh (Ashley)Coulter; step-grandchildren, Nick Stapleton, Chris (Kristy) Stapelton, Kerri (Vadim) Roschin; thirteen great grandchildren; a brother-in-law Gary Hall; a sister-in-law, Peggy Cleveland; and close friends Nancy Gaby and Karri Mitchum.   A memorial graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Barnard Family Cemetery in Kibler Valley with Mr. Adam Hall officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s research Hospital, P.O. Box 1999, Memphis, TN 38101; or to Salvation Army, Davidson County Corps, 318 W 9th Avenue, Lexington, 27292.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
