Janice Gearldine Parrish

         Mrs. Janice “Gearldine” Parrish, age 79, of Stuart passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at The Landmark Center in Stuart.  She was born in Surry County, NC on October 12, 1940.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Albert Parrish; her mother, Lady Ethel Jessup; and a son-in-law, Sidney A. “Junior” Jones.  Geraldine was a member of Wayside Community Church.  She loved doing embroidery, working in the garden, and tending to her flowers.

         Surviving are a daughter, Wanda P. Jones of Stuart; two grandchildren, Stacy Jones Foley, Tony Jones; four great grandchildren, Milli, Avery, Adilynn, Hadley; one sister, Josephine Parrish of Mt. Airy, NC; and a host of other family members and special friends.

         A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00 am in the Dry Pond Church of Christ Cemetery with Pastor Ricky Rogers officiating.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
