Janice Yevette Thompson

Miss Janice Yevette Thompson, age 55, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  She was born on June 6, 1968, in Brair County Texas to Avis May Llewellyn Thompson, and the late Charlie Wayne Thompson Sr.  Miss Thompson was employed at McDonalds, and a member of first Assembly of God in Winston Salem.  Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Avis Thompson; sister and brother-in-law, Joy Moody (Charles); brother and sister-in-law, Charles Thompson, Jr. (Marla) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father, Miss Thompson was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, June and Hugh Jacobs.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Salisbury National Cemetery.  There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
