Jason Christopher Lyons

Mr. Jason Christopher Lyons, 21, of 532 Mitchell Mill Road, Claudville, VA, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Lyons was born May 12, 1986, in DeRidder, LA, to Evelyn Lyons King. He was a mechanic and of the Lutheran faith. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Evelyn Lyons King and Brian King of Claudville, VA; a brother, Brian Jeffery Bennett of Claudville, VA; his grandfather, Russell Lyons of Mount Airy; stepgrandparents, Lisa and Danny King of Ararat, VA, and Kathy and Ben Hiatt of Mount Airy; a very special friend, Jessica Combs and her daughter, Mattie of Claudville, VA; uncles and aunts, Patrick and Susan Lyons of Mount Airy, Ramona Haubrich of Elkin, and Tim King and Trevor King, both of Ararat, VA; and several cousins, Hollie Lyons, Justin Lyons, Michael Milstead, and Cody Haubrich. Mr. Lyons was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lieselotte Van Basshuissen Lyons. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 2, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Danube Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Claudville, VA. The family will receive friends Saturday 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
