J.B. Scott

Mr. J.B. Scott, age 88, of Lewisville, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  He was born in Surry County on January 23, 1932 to the late Newell Chester and Ethel Leftwich Scott.  Mr. Scott was a retired sales manager from Airweld Inc. and proudly served our country in the U.S. Army.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ruby Scott of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger Scott and Kim Harvel, Michael Scott and wife Elizabeth Kiger, William Scott and wife Kathy; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Georgia Lee Brown; sister-in-law, Sheila Scott.  In addition to his parents Mr. Scott was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Scott.  A private graveside service will be held at Ivy Green Baptist Church Cemetery with services conducted by Rev. Richard Lowman.  There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
