Jean Dickerson Watson

Jean Dickerson Watson, 75, of Westfield, passed away on Sunday night, May 8, 2022, at her home.  She was born in Surry County on August 26, 1946, to the late Hubert G. and Mary Francis Cockerham Dickerson.  Mrs. Watson retired from Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her children, Mark W Stone (Melissa), Tina Nichols (Sam), Lisa A. Stone  (Rick Graham); grandchildren, Shana Perez, Angie Stone, Casey A Stapleton, Stacy L Matthews (Jason), Chelsey R Hess, Dawson T Hess, Matthew D Simpson ( Megan), Andrew T Simpson, Jessy L Nichols, Jake N Nichols; thirteen great grandchildren; siblings, Hubert Grant Dicken, Sr. (Mary), John A Dickerson (Debbie), Ila Dale Becker; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Watson.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Watson family.  Online condolences may be made at www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
