Jefferson Cooper Draughon

Mr. Jefferson Cooper Draughon, 66, of Ararat, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at his home. He was born April 11, 1950, in Surry County, to the late Marvin Sydney and Margaret Mearns Draughon. Mr. Draughon retired from American Health Care. He is survived by his wife, Patty Jean Flinchum Draughon; two sons and a daughter-in-law, John Jefferson Draughon and Kristi and Marvin Sidney Draughon and Marlena; his grandchildren, Kayla Lopez and Diego, Dean Draughon, Sean Draughon, Sydney Draughon, and Mollie Draughon; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia Rupard and Eddie; and two brothers, Alexander Draughon and Mervin Draughon. In addition to his parents, Mr. Draughon was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Draughon. The family will receive friends from six o'clock until 8 o'clock on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
