Jeffery Ryan Bobbitt

Mr. Jeffery Ryan Bobbitt, 30, of Cana, VA, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 29, 2015. He was born March 1, 1984, in Surry County, to Jeffery Steven and Mable Pricilla Wareing Bobbitt. In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by a sister, Christina Bobbitt; a brother, Steven Wareing; and his paternal grandparents, Joe and Violet Bobbitt. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Lettie Jean Wareing; and a “special friend," Christie Lynn York. The funeral service will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Lambsburg Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Israel Easter officiating. Burial will follow in the Hawks Family Cemetery in Lambsburg, VA. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Lambsburg Missionary Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Lambsburg Missionary Baptist Church. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
