Jessie Cleveland Draughn, Jr.

Mr. Jessie Cleveland Draughn, Jr., age 78, of Siloam, passed away Friday night October 4, 2024, at Chatham Nursing in Elkin, North Carolina. Mr. Draughn was born October 30, 1945, in Surry County to the late Jessie Cleveland Draughn, Sr., and Annie Pike Draughn. He had retired from Proctor Silex as a core line worker. Mr. Draughn is survived by a son, Roger Draughn; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne Draughn and Geraldine; sister-in-law, Becky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Draughn; daughters, Tammy A. Draughn and Crystal G. Draughn; brother, James Draughn. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Redeeming Grace Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Draughn officiating. There will be no formal visitation held. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Draughn family.
