Jillian Handy Anderson

Ms. Jillian Marie Handy Anderson, age 31 of Stuart, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on April 5, 1983, and was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Roy and Maudie Handy, her maternal grandparents, Roscoe "Bud" Edwards and Georgia Eaton Edwards; and an uncle, Barry Scott Edwards. She was a member of True Gospel Baptist Church. She had been a CNA for Team Nurse, which she truly enjoyed as she was loving and sympathetic towards her patients' needs. She was a very loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Jill is survived by her daughter, Hailey Marie Anderson of the home; her parents, Douglas and Kathy Edwards Handy of Stuart; two sisters, Shawna Handy of Roanoke and Rebecca Titular of Phoenix, Arizona; two nieces, Alyssa and Kyra Titular; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor J.R. Shelton officiating. Burial will be private.
