Jimmie Vestal Robertson

Mr. Jimmie Vestal “Papa” Robertson, 79 of Lowgap, NC, passed away at his home Saturday morning, October 31, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Carroll County, March 20, 1947, to the late Husie Anderson “Ann” Robertson and Ossie Viola Tolbert Robertson. He was the owner of Foothills Evergreen, Inc. and was of the Baptist Faith. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Beulah Mae Todd Robertson; son and daughter-in-law, David and Susie Robertson; daughter, Patricia Robertson; step-daughter, Michelle and Bo Puckett; grandchildren, Jessica Manuel, Sandy Robertson, Candy Robertson, Samantha Jones, Noah Robertson, Keisha and Matt James, Jessie and Krista Bullins, and Karli and Brady Tilley; great-grandchildren, Destiny Smith, Ali Smith, Kannon Peele, Kennadi Jones, Raylan Robertson, and Navy Tilley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anne Deatherage, Virginia Dawson, Annie Edwards, Linda and Johnny Noah, Jessie Stevens, and Anthylene and Lynn Haynes; several nieces and nephews; and several other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by three sisters, Carlene Robertson, Helen Gwyn, and Shelvia Snow; three brothers, Gary Robertson, Clarence Robertson and William Wade Robertson; his stepmother, Irene Galyean Robertson; and a stepson, Gray Bullins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Moody Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Pastor Joe Atkins and Pastor William Shew officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday night, November 2, 2026, at Moody’s from 6:00 until 8:00pm. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
