Jimmy Wayne McMillian

Mr. Jimmy Wayne McMillian, age 55 of Mount Airy, passed away at his home Thursday morning January 4, 2024.  He was born June 11, 1968, in Surry County to Katherine Sechrist McMillian and the late Rev. James John McMillian.  Mr. McMillian is survived by wife, Esther Castilleja; his mother, Katherine Sechrist McMillian; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and Carl Ray Tate, Ann and Don Fleenor, and Brenda and Rev. Johnny Easter; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James Wade and Debbie McMillian, Arnold and Karen McMillian, and Johnny and Pam McMillian; special friends, Larry and Chris; his special fur baby, Coco; and several other family and friends.  In addition to his father, Mr. McMillian was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia McMillian.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 9, 2024, at 2pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy with the Rev. Johnny Easter officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 1:00 – 2:00pm.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
