Joe Edward Bullins

Joe Edward Bullins, 86 of Lawsonville, NC passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. He was born in Pfafftown, NC on May 18, 1939 to the late Jessie and Sarah Bullins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Shelton and husband Raymond, Novie Southern and husband Dave, May Southern and husband Bert; three brothers, Charlie Bullins and wife Margaret, Hubert Bullins and wife Allie Mae, Bobby Bullins and wife Earline.

Joe retired from Unifi where he was a mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, being outside and making jokes.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Polly Willard Bullins; one daughter, Missy Dodson and husband Barry; two sons, Micheal Bullins and wife Julie, and Joe Jr. (Tiger) Bullins and wife Robin; Nine Grandchildren, and Eight Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Moody Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ricky Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow in Aaron’s Corner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, and other times at the home, 1010 Nellie’s Drive, Lawsonville, NC 27022.
