John Wayne "Jay" Lowe

Mr. John Wayne “Jay” Lowe, age 57, of Dobson, passed away Monday, July  1, 2019 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home . He was born October 18, 1961 in Forsyth County to Nell Zellalou Mayes Lowe and Lawrence Pierce Lowe. In addition to his parents, he survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Vickie Sue Lowe and Eddie Brown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Darrell Eugene and Patsy Lowe, Chester Edwin and Ginger Lowe. He was preceded in death by his brothers Barry Lowe, Keith Lowe and Deon Lowe. Mr. Lowe was a farmer and a member of Rocky Ford Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 2-3 P.M. at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Reverend Joe Atkins and Reverend Woody Flippen  officiating. A private burial will follow in the Roaring Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.
