John David "Ralph" Smith

John David “Ralph” Smith, 56, left this world unexpectedly on July 12, 2022, to enter heavens gate.  David was a kindhearted man with a heart of gold that would do anything for anybody.  He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and woodwork.  David worked as a foreman in the cable business for many years until his health declined.  Left to cherish his memory are a son, John Smith; a daughter, Lexie Smith; his mother and father, Carol and Mike Jones; sisters, Michelle “Sissy” Wright and Ronnie, and Christy Leupold and Jason; his brother, Johnny Smith and fiancé Michelle; Aunt Sandra Boyd and Brack, Aunt Lisa Dillon and Roger; two uncles, Randy and Tony King; several nieces and nephews, Jes, Cameron, Bailey, Danielle, Courtney, and Michael; a special niece, Kylie Simmons; and a special nephew, Alex, his “fishing buddy”.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
