John Davis Welborn, Jr

Mr. John Davis Welborn Jr. passed away at his home on Saturday, August 26,2006. Mr. Welborn was born in Greensboro, N.C. on August 6, 1959 to the late John D.Welborn Sr. and Margaret Salter Welborn of Greensboro, N.C. He was employed at Mechanical Designs as a quality control inspector. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, Mr. Welborn is survived by his wife, Sharon E.Welborn, one daughter, Sarah Elizabeth and one son, John Davis III all of Stuart. Mr.Welborn is also survived by two brothers, Terry McElfresh of Greensboro, N.C., and Steve Welborn of Murfreesboro, TN. and one sister, Ann Jones of Greensboro, N.C. Services for Mr. Welborn will be held Monday 28, 2006 at 11:00AM at Grace Baptist Church, with Pastor Ted Thisse officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30PM at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro, N.C. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Patrick County, 835 Woodland Dr.Suite 101, Stuart, VA. 24171.
