Mr. Johnathan Lee Cagle, age 45, passed away Monday night, June 17, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Mr. Cagle was born on March 18, 1979, to Charles Ray Cagle and the late Litha Melinda Jones Cagle in Galax, Virginia. He fought many battles of his own, which he tirelessly tried to overcome, but ultimately lost. Mr. Cagle is now rejoicing with his lord and savior, which he vigorously praised and talked about constantly. Mr. Cagle was a proud and devoted member of Rise Above Worship Center.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Chelsea Cagle of the home; his father, Charles Ray Cagle; devoted sister and brother-in-law, Crystal and Chad Crotts, sister, Whitney Lawson, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jessica Cagle; brother, Donnie Cagle. A celebration of Mr. Cagle’s life will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Mount Airy First Pentecostal Holiness in Mount Airy at 2 PM with Pastor Chad Crotts and Tom Coiro officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and prayers during this difficult time. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Cagle family.
