Johnny Sherman Galyean

Mr. Johnny Sherman Galyean, Age 47 of Lowgap passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Surry County on January 10, 1967 to Virginia Lee Edwards Galyean and the late Walter Ray Galyean. In addition to his mother, Mr. Galyean is survived by three sisters Martha Wood of Meadows of Dan, VA, Pearl Bond of Fries, VA. and Sarah slate of North Wilkesboro, NC. and by three brothers Walter Gaylean of Mt. Airy, Mitchell Galyean of Lowgap and Joel Jackson Galyean of Lowgap. Graveside services will be held Saturday March 15, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Ivy Green Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder David Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends Friday night 6 to 8 P.M. at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Moody Funeral Home will be assisting the Galyean family.
