Johnny Lyn Hardy Sr.

Mr. Johnny Lyn Hardy Sr. 63, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away at his home Monday, November 25, 2024. Born April 29, 1961, to the late Wayne and Nellie Wall Hardy. Johnny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a homebody and loved nothing more than to sit at home watching his favorite show, WWE wrestling. When he wasn’t at home, he enjoyed going to the river. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Shirley Hardy; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Amber Hardy; grandchildren, Charity Hardy, Ellie Hardy, Madi Hardy, Elian Hardy, Colton Hardy, Briana Hardy, Evan Hardy, and Briana Arthur; sisters, Melissa Smith, and Patricia Hardy; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry Hardy and Carol; brother-in-law, Christopher Patton nieces and nephews, Courtney Bledsoe, Kimberly Wood, Kayla Stanley, Tristian Williams, Kylie Bledsoe, Wyatt Stanley, Levi Wood, and Ariel Milar; as well as, Christopher Patton. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Lyn Hardy Jr. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hardy Family Cemetery.
