Johnny Ray Swaim

Mr. Johnny Ray Swaim age 42 of 578 Little Mountain Church Road, Ararat, NC husband of Mrs. Jessica Nelson passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014. He was born November 16, 1971 in Surry County to Peggy Lorene Sawyers Swaim Draughn and the late John Wesley Swaim. He was a construction worker. Surviving are his wife, Jessica Nelson of the home, two sons, Jonathan Ray Swaim of the home and Zachary Swaim of Galax, VA and a daughter, Nikki Swaim of Galax, VA, a granddaughter, Airianna Jones of Galax, VA, two step children, Jesse Robertson of Mt. Airy, and Jacob Robertson of Lowgap, his mother, Peggy S. Draughn of Ararat, and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Theresa Inman and Aaron of Pilot Mountain and Joyce Caudle of Winston-Salem, a niece, Krystal Caudle, of Mocksville and nephew Dustin Inman of Pilot Mountain.
