Johnny Lee Vickhouse

Mr. Johnny Lee Vickhouse, 42, of Elkin passed away on Sunday July 3, 2011. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on December 12, 1968 to the late Walter Eugene, Jr. and Alice Ann Majors Vickhouse. Mr. Vickhouse was employed by Indicore and an avid softball fan enjoying games with his children who played for the Mitchell River Bandits and the Blue Ridge Bombers. He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancée, Cindy Vawter; a daughter, Elise Austin; a son, Andy Vawter; three brothers, Robert and wife Kim Vickhouse of Virginia Beach, VA, Walter Vickhouse, III of Chesapeake, VA and Larry and wife Mary Vickhouse of Norfolk, VA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home by Brother Jerry Pardue. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday July 8th one hour prior to the service.
