Johnsie Elizabeth Hayes Wheeler

Mrs. Johnsie Elizabeth Hayes Wheeler, 84, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010, at Central Continuing Care. Mrs. Wheeler was born October 29, 1926, in Surry County, to the late Montgomery L. and Molly Ausburne Hayes. She was a retired insurance secretary and a member of Ladonia Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by five brothers. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Ladonia Baptist Church Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is surviving the family.
