Jolene Danyl Stoneman Graybeal

Mrs. Jolene Danyl Stoneman Graybeal, of Mount Airy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, May 23, 2024.  Mrs. Graybeal was a native of Carroll County, VA, and was the only child born to the late Gordon John and Agnes Frances Felts Stoneman.  Jolene worked several years in the medical field.   She ended her career as a social worker assistant with the Mecklenburg County Department of Social Services.   Her spiritual journey was solid.   She made a profession of Christian faith as a young lady and was a member of Dobson Church of Christ.  She is survived by her husband, Thomas Edward Graybeal; a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Stephanie Huckabee; and her special friends, Sandi Stikeleather, Wanda Smith, Donna Gingrich, and Matt Payne.  A private graveside service will be held at Independence Cemetery in Fancy Gap, VA.   No formal visitation will be held.   Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
