Jonathan Ross Angel

Mr. Jonathan Ross Angel, 41, of Mt. Airy passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Angel was born in Forsyth County on June 25, 1982, to his mother Dianne Tickle Angel and to his father Jon Angel.  He was a loving father, son and brother who will be dearly missed.  He was known for his  quick-witted humor that always kept everyone entertained.  Mr. Angel was skilled in many trades and an excellent craftsman.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Angel is survived by a daughter, Madison RayAnn Angel; a sister, Adrienne Angel; half-brothers, Cameron Angel, and Gavin Angel; a grandmother, Frances Edwards Villari; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved dog Sissy.  Mr. Angel was preceded in death by the mother of his child, Brandy Gammons; his grandparents, Thurman and Vera Shelton Tickle, and Bill Angel, Sr.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Union Hill Friends Church, with the Rev. Ernest Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Union Hill Friends Church.  Moody Funeral Services in Mt.
