Josefina Avila Guerrero

Josefina Guerrero Avila, age 72, of Dobson, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Novant Medical Center. She was born June 22, 1953, in Mexico, to the late Jesus Guerrero and the late Soledad Avilla. Left to cherish her memories are her children; Victor Hugo Gonzalez Guerrero, Liliana Gonzalez Guerrero, Alejandra Gonzalez Guerrero and Oscar Gonzalez Guerrero; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Cesar Gonzalez Guerrero. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Boonville with Rev. Jean Pierre Swamunu Lhoposo officiating. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Guerrero family.
